When you look at the numbers, the problem is clear. Too many of our children do not have the support they need to grow up healthy, happy and ready to succeed.
Arizona’s children are our future. Their success benefits our community today, tomorrow and for generations to come. And each of us has a role in ensuring they have the best chance possible for success in school and beyond.
Research indicates that the ages 0-6 are the most critical in a child’s development and in determining future success. That means providing all children have quality early care and learning opportunities is vital. In fact, studies indicate that children who are exposed to quality early learning experiences are more likely to read at grade level, graduate and stay out of trouble with the law.
